The Achievment of Translation Department in the Field of Sport

It is a great acievment recorded for Translation Department in (COLLEGE OF ARTS FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP).
It is one of the milestones of 2009,Translation Department gained the championship of College of Arts.The golden figures in Translation Department Football Team included :Abass Abdul AL-Muhsin, Ali Falah, Ali Hameed, Ahmed Hameed,Azam Abdul Al-Sattar,Yasir Qasim, Haider Kamil, M. Jabar, M.Hashem, Muafak.
Translation Department football manager was Ala’a Mohammed. The most memorable matches were against the History Department, where Translation Department won by scoring 7 goals (while History became “history” by scoring only 2), and with Philosophy Department, where Department won 5 to 2.
In the semi-Final, the match was between the Arabic Language Department team & Our and it ended with a penalty-kick that secured our victory. Finally our team faced the Anthropology Department and our team also won by a penalty-Kick which was the one and only goal in the match.
