FIFA World Cup

The World cup championship for football is recognized as the greatest championship held by The Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) which was established in 1904. This greatest championship in sport, particularly in football, is held once every four years and is waited for by all the people of the world.

The idea of this championship was suggested by Gole Remee, the former chief of FIFA when he decided to hold a huge event in Uruguay in 1930.This choice came for two reasons: The first reason was that Uruguay was the champion of the world in football in the Olympic Games in 1924 and 1928.The second one was the celebrations of 100^th anniversary of Uruguay’s independence in 1930.

The inauguration of the first championship started with two matches. Firstly, France defeated Mexico (4-1). Secondly, Belgium was defeated by the USA team (0-3). The first goal in history of world cup was scored by the French player (Lochen Lorein). In the final match, Uruguay gained the first title after it had defeated Argentina (4-2) which was witnessed by 93000 crowds in Montevideo.

The cup of this championship was nicknamed “the cup of Gole Remee” the cup stayed in the championship from 1930 to 1970 when the Brazilian team kept it forever for their winning the cup for three times. In 1970, A new design of the cup was made after many experts at FIFA had evaluated 53 designs. Finally, they chose the design of Selvio Gazaniga, the Italian sculptor. The height of the new cup is 36 cm. it is made from gold of 18 carats; its weight is 6175 gm. In addition, in the bottom of cup you can find the sculpted names of the victorious teams of this cup since 1974. Meanwhile, the cup will not be replace until the there is no place to sculpt the names of the winning teams, and this is to happen in 2038.

On the other hand, there is a championship of world cup for the first one was held in China in 1991.

Finally, we hope to watch this wonderful championship which will start on 11^th of June in the country of Nelson Mandela (South Africa) as it will be held in Africa for the first time ever.

ISSUE NO 5: DOES HISTORY ITSELF BELIEVE IN THE ANSWERS IT IS GIVING US!!

Does history itself believe in the answers it is giving us!!

Sometimes we need some answers for some things happened long time ago or seeking answers for questions come to mind.

Is it true what we know about our past life, our existence, or how it all even started?!!

Ancient people, discovered facts we couldn't tell until the appearance of technology.

One of the many questions that came to my mind is, how is it possible till this very day, we're depending on a system of astronomy, date and time that was created by people lived centuries ago with no technology whatsoever became one of the most important basics of our life.

Doesn't this matter raise even more questions!

Like, how did they figure it out? Does our history missing some facts? Did they have any sort of technology back then? But this last question raises another; did they really need technology to figure it out? What if they were miles ahead of us, and we’ve just lost the track of keeping up.

A calendar was created by the Mayan civilization 1500 BC that is being used till this moment, and they even built a pyramid of four sided figure and four stairs on each side with 91 steps each, totals 364 steps plus the platform at the top representing the 365 days of our calendar.

What about those who created the Gregorian calendar: the first to present the leap year in 46 BC, how they knew all of that??

These are the questions, along with many other questions, that we may or may never find the answers to.  There is a chance we might one day know, but nobody knows when!! Where!! Or how!!

I, for myself, like to believe in these few words: "We might experience reality after death".
